Notifications turn booking events into consistent email and SMS messages. A workflow combines a trigger, audience, conditions, timing, message, and delivery channel.
Connect a delivery provider
- Open Administration > Integrations and configure the supported email or SMS provider.
- Enter the email or SMS provider settings without exposing the credentials in screenshots or notes.
- Send one controlled test to an email address or phone number you own.
- Confirm delivery and reply or opt-out behavior before creating live workflows.
Create a workflow
- Open Automation > Visual Automation Builder and select Add Automation.
- Name the workflow by its purpose, such as Confirmed booking – customer confirmation.
- Choose the exact trigger, such as booking created, status changed, or time before event.
- Add conditions for the appropriate booking statuses, brands, or audiences.
- Choose email or SMS and select the correct recipient.
- Write the subject and message using supported booking placeholders.
- Preview with a fictional test booking and verify every placeholder resolves.
- Save the workflow disabled, send a test, then enable it only after the result is correct.
Check automation runs
- Open Automation > Automation Center after the first test and first live trigger, then review its run history.
- Confirm the workflow, booking, recipient, channel, time, and result.
- Open failed runs and correct the provider connection, recipient, template, or trigger condition.
- Do not manually resend until you know the workflow did not already deliver the message.
Avoid duplicate messages
Do not create two active workflows with the same trigger, audience, and purpose. Check automation run history before manually resending a message.
SMS consent: follow the consent, identification, opt-out, quiet-hours, and recordkeeping rules that apply to your messages and recipients.
